My last post was about one of my pet peeves. Another of my pet peeves is stores that sell Christmas merchandise earlier and earlier each year. In the good old days you never saw Christmas decorations before Thanksgiving. And you certainly couldn’t buy holiday items until after Halloween.
Over the years it seems that retailers have been pushing up the time-line for selling holiday items. Now, it’s not uncommon to see holiday items for sale in September. This used to bug the heck out of me. Truth be told, I have even been known to ask a store manager to not play Christmas music so early. Seriously, Jingle Bells in mid-November. It had me seeing red! Not Christmas red. I want to enjoy Thanksgiving first. I would never do that if I had a retail business.
Well, remember when mother said, “Never say never.” Yup my 2010 Christmas ornaments are up online for sale. *sigh* I could give you a ton of excuses about why I caved and put them up before Halloween. Things like I’ll be too busy later, the internet has no season, etc. But really, I have no excuse. You were right mom! Again!
In case you are a glass fuser, I have a tutorial on Christmas Tree Ornaments. Look for it here.
Where are the prices?
Sorry. These are all sold out.
Will you be making more of the Christmas Tree ornament?
Yes. I have a few in stock. You can find them here: https://www.etsy.com/listing/271224157/fused-glass-christmas-tree-ornament
