Lizzard in a Bottle

I always keep a supply of cleaned wine bottles on hand to put in the kiln when I have some spare time. I grabbed this one off the shelf and almost dropped it. This poor critter found his way in the bottle but never made it out. I wonder what would have happened if I had flattened this bottle with him still in it. Would it leave a fossil impression? Or would he simply disintegrate at the high temperatures? I didn’t try it. Don’t know why, but couldn’t bring myself to do it.
