I’ve been invited to participate in the Kings Manor Summer Boutique which will be held on Saturday, June 19. This is a local community show and will be my first summer show. Usually I do one show in the Fall. Preparing for a Fall show seems a bit easier. People are always shopping for Christmas gift items. I’m not exactly sure what kind of items will sell in the summer.
I’ve been busy making a variety of items. A batch of wine bottle cheese boards, which are usually popular, are done. There is a new supply of blue Skyy Vodka bottles waiting to be made into soap dishes. Several sushi plates are scheduled to go into the kiln tomorrow for the first of two firings. I have a stained glass bluebonnet design that I will hopefully have done for the show. And there are some new pendants in my inventory. Several customers have requested smaller pendants. Oh! And I am also experimenting with some small round pendants. This is still a work in progress. Phew! I will be busy the next two weeks.
If you live in or near the Kingwood area, stop by and say hi! The Kings Manor Summer Boutique will be held at the Kings Manor Recreation Center, 27200 Kings Manor Drive, Kingwood TX on June 19 at 10:00 a.m.
Here are a few of my new pendants.
