What a great weekend! I took a three day class at Hollander Glass with Michael Dupille. My brain is on information overload right now, but it’s a good thing. We worked mostly with frits (powder, fine, and medium) and learned about using CMC to make a glass paste. With the glass in this paste form there seems to be an endless variety of ways to use it. This class was packed with information and yet Michael managed to keep it relaxed and fun. I never felt overwhelmed but I was low on caffeine today! It’s always great to be with fellow glass artists too. Everyone in this class was so creative and inspiration abounded. If you are planning on attending the Las Vegas Glass & Bead Expo in April this is a class you should definitely look into! Check out Michael’s website and see his amazing work here: http://www.michaeldupille.com/
Here is a sneak peak of a piece in progress. I’ll be posting more show and tell pictures soon. Several pieces are still in the kiln.
