Every handkerchief vase I make is a unique one-of-a-kind piece. I created this vase with a lovely wispy blue turquoise shade of glass. This piece is made with two kiln firings. In the second firing the glass is slowly heated over several hours for the glass to drape over a form making the lovely folds. I watch it carefully until it has achieved the look I want. The piece is then cooled down slowly. The result is a vase that is different and beautiful from every angle. Filled with flowers or greenery or even empty this is great addition to any style of home décor.
