An original stained glass bluebonnet design. In this piece I combined both the copper foil method and traditional leaded construction techniques. The bluebonnet is made in the copper foil and the border in lead came. It is always difficult to capture just how beautiful the glass is in a photograph. The border is an amber glass with a thin blue iridescent glass border. Four corner bevels add sparkle when the sun shines through. The clear background is a textured antique looking glass.
