This fused glass tray is on of my favorite pieces. It has a matte finish rather than a glossy finish and gives the piece an almost stone like quality. This mostly white fused glass art tray features a unique hand crafted piece of glass. To create this one of a kind piece of glass I stack strips of glass in the kiln heating them up until they flow together and create a slab. I cut the slab open with a tile saw to reveal the stunning pattern created. Each flow slab pattern bar is unique. In this piece I combined white, black, and a hint of gray to create the pattern bar. The complete process takes 3 firings. The shape has gentle elegant slope. Four small coordinating glass feet elevate it slightly. Not only beautiful, but also functional as a serving piece.
