This is the smaller sibling of my larger lotus garden art. This size is a sweet surprise tucked into the landscape, flower bed, or an added pop of color in a flower pot. See the last picture to compare sizes between this one and the larger ones.
The design inspiration for my lotus bud garden art came from a trip to Vietnam & Cambodia. In Vietnam, the Lotus flower is a symbol of optimism for the future. The lotus has its roots in the darkness of mud. It incubates there until it rises high above the muddy waters, clean, beautiful and fragrant. At night the flower closes and sinks underwater and rises and opens again at dawn. If ever there was a need for optimism it is now as we face the challenges of Coronavirus.
Made with a combination of transparent and opaque art glass and accented with colorful murrini. I make the murrini by combining different colors of glass, forming it into a rod, and cutting it into small pieces revealing the colorful design inside. Yard art is a great gift idea for anyone, but especially for a gardener, teacher, or mom.
SIZE OF GLASS: 7.5″ x 3.75″ (stake extends 6″)
COLORS: purple wine, white, green
Please note that different monitors will display colors differently. I do my best to display the colors as accurately as possible. But don’t worry! It will be beautiful either way.
