This is a one-of-a-kind fused glass double curve art panel. I made this contemporary glass art piece with over 100 pieces of hand cut glass most only 6mm wide. The focal point is made by combining different colors of glass in a clay pot that has holes in the bottom. The pot with the glass is heated in the kiln until the glass melts and streams out of the holse onto a shelf. These creates a unique disk of glass. Searching for just the right piece, I cut out the design element that I want. I then surround the focal point with blue and green glass alternating with clear glass. This gives the piece visual interest as it is viewed from different angles. A great display piece that looks stunning when back lit. A truly one of a kind piece that would be a wonderful gift for a new home, or for an office display piece.
