This black channel plate is very unique. By sandblasting and controling the temperature and time in the kiln I am able to give the glass a very interesting texture. Rather than the high gloss finish that is typical of glass this has a subtle texture and matte finish that looks almost “leather-like.” This hand crafted fused glass channel plate which is beautiful on its own is also functional as a serving dish for appetizers, desserts or anything else. From design to completion, all of my pieces are handmade by me in my studio.
