New Item – Fused Glass Nail Files

Sharing some pictures of what I’ve been working on for the upcoming Women’s Club Holiday Market that will be held on October 25. Since the economy is pretty much in the tank, I’ve been trying to come up with some gift items that are economical. These are glass nail files that I have embellished with miniature works of art made with dichroic glass.  Dichroic glass is glass that has multiple layers of metal oxides which give the glass dichroic optical properties. The main characteristic of dichroic glass is that it has a transmitted color and a completely different reflected color. This causes an array of color to be displayed; the  colors shift depending on the angle of view. These nail files pretty much last forever. They work well on both natural and acrylic nails. I have one that I bought 5 years ago and just won’t use any other kind of nail file. They would make a great stocking stuffer. I have two different sizes in a variety of colors. Each glass nail file is unique and comes in a black velvet sheath.

So sorry, but at the moment, I don’t have any nail files for sale. I will try to get some made up in the next few weeks and put them for sale in my Etsy shop.
