This piece was installed last weekend. The client requested a panel with a flower from each place she had lived. The magnolia represents Louisiana; the Scottish thistle from Scotland; the tulip from Holland, and the bluebonnet from Texas.

Just in time for you holiday and Christmas shopping, I’ve reduced the price of this stained glass panel. It’s a great way to say, “I love you” to someone.
Tiffany’s use of glass was amazing. More often than not, stained glass church windows are painted to show the details of a scene like the folds in cloth. Tiffany, however, only used paint for faces and hands. Instead he used a drapery glass.
For me there is just something magical about sunlight streaming through a stained glass window. I once described it as “living art” and indeed it is. The colors in a stained glass window change with every passing hour and the movement of the sun.
Unless you are an avid stained glass lover like me, you may miss it. But next time you watch a movie, watch closely. More likely than not, you will see a stained glass window somewhere in the movie. It has become a game in our family to be the first to spot the stained glass in a movie.
