Glass pieces ready for firing in the kiln.
What’s cooking in the kiln you ask? Here is a picture of what is in my kiln right now. This is just a portion of the 800 pieces of glass that I will fire in the kiln over the next few days. Each piece is 2.25 inches by .25 inches. These will be fired just enough to soften and round out the edges. They will be used for a craft project for a Woman’s Retreat themed “Finding Your Place in God’s Kaleidoscope”. Can’t give away too many details right now though. I’ll have pictures of the completed project next month.
