Fused Glass Pendant Inspiration from South Africa

At the start of this new year, I took some time to review 2017. It was a good year.

One of the highlights of 2017 was a trip to South Africa with some dear friends. Wherever I go I am always inspired by the colors and shapes around me. South Africa was no exception. We saw many animals up close. Several times too close for my comfort! I recently made some pendants that are definitely inspired by the animals we saw. Here are two that were inspired by the zebra and the impala. Interesting note. I always thought zebras were all white and black. In fact they also have brown and taupe stripes.
